Tottenham travel to The Lamb Ground on Sunday lunchtime to take on National League Tamworth in the FA Cup Third Round. This is the fourth time that Tamworth have made it to this stage of the cup, but this is by far their most daunting task, and will have their work cut out to make it a first ever appearance in the Fourth Round. Spurs head to 'The Lamb' fresh from a Carabao Cup Semi-Final first leg success against Premier League leaders Liverpool and will use this as a chance to rotate what is left of a depleted squad.

Tamworth head into this one on the back of exiting the FA Trophy to fellow National League side Sutton on Tuesday night but will welcome back centre half Jordan Cullinane-Liburd following his suspension for a straight red card picked up in a defeat at Rochdale before Christmas. Against what is likely to be the classiest outfit the defender will face in his career, I am backing him to find his way into the referee's notebook once again. Cullinane-Liburd has been carded twice already in this run to the Third Round, and this is on top of his nine cards that he has picked up thus far in the National League campaign. I feel the 11/4 on offer for Cullinane-Liburd to be carded is well in advance of what it should be and am happy to make this my main play here.

It is hard to see Tamworth posing any real threat towards the Spurs goal. However, any chance they may have of causing Tottenham any issues will likely be from the hands of Tom Tonks. In the lead up to this fixture, there has been much exposure for the long throw of Tonks (which caused havoc in Tamworth's First Round victory over League One Huddersfield). I am keen to have a small play on covering them gaining some success from this given the prices on offer. The main target within the Tamworth ranks for Tonks' torpedo like throw-in is top scorer Dan Creaney. However, it seems as if the bookies have clocked onto this given his price to score. Therefore, I am happy to take a punt on both the aforementioned Jordan Cullinane-Liburd, and Haydn Hollis to get themselves on the scoresheet at 16/1 and 28/1 respectively. Whilst it is unlikely that a Premier League level defence will fall for this (especially given the exposure to it in the lead up to this fixture), Tottenham have a makeshift defence owing to their injury crisis and with an inexperienced goalkeeper between the sticks, it could pay to be on side with the Tamworth defenders to find the net. I've also had a small wager on each of them to have a shot, both priced at 11/5. My final selection for covering this angle, is that of Tom Tonks himself to assist. He has managed this five times this season, four of which being from his throw-ins and with the 11/1 on offer, I am happy to take the chance he finds success against a frail Spurs backline.
