Hillsborough hosts a Steel City Derby for the first time in just over five years, with the stakes at an all-time high. United travel across the city with hopes of keeping their automatic promotion dreams firmly alive, while Wednesday hope that a positive result will keep them in the play-off picture. Sheffield United got the upper hand in the reverse fixture, with Tyrese Campbell getting the only goal of the game. That was the first goal in a Steel City Derby for over 300 minutes of football, with the previous three head-to-heads ending goalless.

Given the distinct lack of goals in these fixtures in recent times, I am happy to avoid any of the goalscorer or goal markets in this one, and have opted for the traditional cards route in a fierce rivalry. My attention was drawn to Wednesday's Josh Windass, who has picked up a card in four of his last seven matches. That has taken his total to seven cards for the season in 2,646 minutes. I was surprised to see 17/4 on offer for a player who has become prolific at committing cynical fouls in recent weeks, especially with the occasion we have on our hands here. There was also value to be had in the Sheffield United ranks, with Gustavo Hamer. The Dutchman has picked up eleven cards this campaign, in just 2,496 minutes of football. That leaves the 14/5 on offer for him to be carded looking very generous. He was lucky to avoid a card in the reverse fixture, but with Hamer committing 1.88 fouls per 90 this season, I can't see him being lucky enough to avoid a card again. The double for both to be carded comes in at 18/1, and this is definitely worth a small play. There is an honourable mention for Sheffield United loanee Hamza Choudhury, who is also priced at 17/4. He is no stranger to the referee's notebook, and that price definitely has legs for those looking to combine multiple players.
