Liverpool booked their Carabao Cup Final place on Thursday evening with a comfortable 4-0 second leg victory over Tottenham on Thursday evening, and their attention now turns to the Road to Wembley once again, when they travel down to the South West to face Plymouth Argyle. Just eight years ago, Plymouth forced Liverpool to a replay at Home Park with a hard-fought 0-0 draw up at Anfield. A lot of water has passed under the bridge since then and seven major trophies later, Liverpool will attempt to dispatch Plymouth again. Miron Muslic's men did earn their first win under their new head coach last weekend at home to West Brom, but a whole new level of opponent awaits them here as they welcome the runaway Premier League leaders who are fresh off the back of topping the Champions League table as well. Argyle are engulfed in a relegation battle in the Championship with them currently sitting bottom of the pile and four points from safety. Ultimately, this is a 'free hit' for them against arguably the best side in the world currently.

Given this fixture sits just three days prior to Arne Slot's first taste of a Merseyside derby, he will undoubtedly rotate his side here and that will likely see the reintroduction of Harvey Elliott into the starting lineup. The 21 year-old has found minutes hard to come by under his new manager, but has certainly made an impression in his limited time within the team. Elliott has scored three goals in his 409 minutes this season, and has scored in two of his three starts. Given the likelihood of Liverpool scoring a dose of goals here, I am looking to get a goalscorer onside, and with little value in the main protagonists, I have turned my attention to Elliott. Priced at 5/2, I feel this is the best value on offer within the Liverpool ranks, given the more advanced role that he has occupied under Slot as opposed to Klopp. The youngster has also had a shot on target in all four of his starts this season, and I am happy to get stuck in on the 4/5 on offer for him to make that five out of five.
