NO BET ADVISED
If you'd have told me at the start of the season that Manchester City would be attempting to leapfrog Nottingham Forest into third place at the beginning of March, I'd have thought Man City's punishment for their 115 charges was handing 20 points to Nottingham Forest. Instead, both sides have had seasons that have defied the early season odds. Despite failing to win four of their last five, Forest occupy third place, albeit they're as many points from second place as they are from tenth. They'll need to regain their form if they are to bring European football to the City Ground next season. Whilst the FA Cup is the only chance Man City have of getting their hands on silverware this campaign, they'll need to ensure they're in the top five to secure another season of Champions League football. They should have enough to get across the line, but a win here would be a massive step towards that.
Given the unpredictability of each side's season, there has been nothing that has jumped out at me in the markets. The struggles that Man City have experienced this season isn't really reflected in the prices, and whilst they could win this comfortably, I am not prepared to take them on at a short price. Nottingham Forest will want to do all they can to not lose this one, and I can see this being a tight encounter.
