The 'Class of 92' owned Salford City take the 5.4 mile journey across Manchester to take on the might of Manchester City. This is the reward that awaits Salford after reaching this stage of the FA Cup for the first time. Despite being a stone's throw from one another, this is the first ever meeting between the two sides. Given the chances of a fifth straight Premier League title appear to have slipped through Man City's hands, I am sure they will be keen to make their presence felt in this competition in order to get some silverware through the doors at the Etihad this season.

Whilst Salford will undoubtedly have their work cut out here against a likely second string Manchester City side, the Ammies can take heart in the fact that they head into this one in excellent form - heading the chasing pack in League Two behind runaway leaders Walsall. Salford have only conceded two goals in their last ten matches and will hope to utilise that impressive defensive record to try and keep this game a contest for as long as possible. A rotated Manchester City side will nevertheless include players worth in excess of £100 million, and Salford City Football Club for that matter. Some of those players in question are Jack Grealish and Jeremy Doku. The former will be attempting to end his goal drought which stretches back over a year now. Whilst the threat of goals has not been there from Grealish, he, much like teammate Jeremy Doku still strike fear into opposition full backs when they get up ahead of steam. I am sure that the same can be said for Salford's wing backs here, and in particular Haji Mnoga. He is likely to face one of Grealish or Doku on Saturday and could be in for a long evening. Grealish is averaging 3.04 fouls won per 90 this season, whilst Doku is averaging 2.23. This will play havoc with Mnoga who has committed an average of 2.33 fouls per 90 this season in League Two. Against players of the quality such as Doku and Grealish, I cannot see Mnoga bucking this trend. Given the prices on offer for him to commit 2 and 3 fouls, I am happy to get stuck in. Should the Salford wing back commit enough fouls, I see him making a mockery of the 5/1 on offer for him to be carded.
