The first half of the season saw Brentford relying on their home form to cater for their abysmal performances on the road. However, the tables have turned in recent weeks with the Bees rattling off three straight victories on their travels, whilst being winless in five at the Gtech Community Stadium. They will be confident of making it four wins in a row at a Leicester City side who are floundering in the Premier League drop zone. The pressure has been heaped on Ruud van Nistelrooy, and with a protest taking place during last weekend's defeat to Arsenal, anything other than a positive result here leaves you thinking that the axe could easily fall on the Dutchman.
I was surprised to see that Brentford were odds against to get the win here given the struggles of the home side. Leicester have lost their last five home matches by at least two goals, failing to score in all of them. I'm therefore keen to get the visitors on side to compound the pain for the home side. The 17/10 on offer for Brentford -1 on the Asian Handicap seems generous, with us getting a refund should the Bees only manage to win this by a one-goal margin.
Bilal El Khannouss has been a bright spark in this struggling Leicester side, the Moroccan has been a mainstay under van Nistelrooy. Since the arrival of the Dutchman, El Khannouss has made 2+ tackles in eleven of his fourteen appearances, and I am surprised to see 4/5 on offer for him to continue that run here. He is averaging 2.15 tackles per 90 this season, and with this priced up as short as 4/11 elsewhere, I am happy to get stuck in.
