Ruben Amorim described his side as "the worst team in the history of Manchester United" following last weekend's defeat at home to Brighton. Given their recent form, it is hard to disagree with him. However, he has backtracked slightly on those comments prior to his sides' Europa League victory over Rangers on Thursday night. If you took their European form on face value, you'd believe that they were enjoying a successful season, having not tasted defeat in the Europa League, heading into the final matchweek. This has all but assured Ruben Amorim's side a passage through to the Last 16, barring a catastrophe in Romania next week. Before that, they face a trip to the capital to face a Fulham side who have only tasted victory over the Red Devils just once in their last twenty meetings. The Cottagers will feel the most confident they have in that time of recording another victory given the two sides' records this season, with a win taking them into a position to challenge for the European spots.
Despite the impressive season that Fulham have enjoyed, they have conceded 30 goals in their 22 matches, only keeping four clean sheets in all competitions this season. I would fancy that Man United get themselves on the scoresheet here, and am keen to take the 13/5 for their captain Bruno Fernandes to score or assist. The Portuguese playmaker has had a goal involvement in nine of his last thirteen matches, and has an impressive record when facing Fulham, scoring four times and assisting once in his eight appearances against the Cottagers. Fernandes has been involved in 10 of the last 22 goals for his side, and given the chance of his side finding the net here, I am happy to get him onside.
