Ruben Amorim admitted this week that David Moyes is doing a better job than he is in their respective projects. Moyes has clocked up as many Premier League wins at Everton as Amorim has at Man United, despite the Scot having eight fewer games in charge. That has seen them leapfrog Moyes' former side in the table, and they come into this one as the favourites. Amorim will have more players at his disposal this week than he did for their visit to Tottenham on Sunday. However, there are still major gaps in his side with arguably his most impressive player Amad Diallo being ruled out for the rest of the season.
Whilst there is definitely some juice in the 8/5 about Everton to win this one, I am happy to look elsewhere, given the unpredictable nature of Man United. I was drawn to the 8/11 on offer for Idrissa Gueye to make 3+ tackles here. Although this is a short price, this has landed in sixteen of Gueye's last twenty appearances, and the Senegalese midfielder is averaging 3.81 tackles per 90 this season. He has made at least four tackles in nine of the aforementioned twenty matches, and I am happy to take the 7/4 on offer for him to make that ten. He played 66 minutes in the reverse fixture back in December, and managed three tackles on that occasion, so should he play the full 90 minutes here, he should rack up enough tackles to give us two winners. Since the arrival of Moyes, Gueye has averaged 4.28 tackles per game, and has hit that average in four of the seven matches under him.
