Arsenal just about kept their domestic season alive with a victory in the North London Derby on Wednesday. It was all but a no-show from Spurs, but Arsenal did take advantage. They closed the gap to title rivals Liverpool to four points - albeit the Reds do have a game in hand. They'll look to keep the pressure on their title rivals here with a win over Unai Emery's Aston Villa. The Villains lived up to their name last season in this fixture taking all three points from the Emirates in April, ultimately proving costly for Arsenal's title hopes. It seems like a must win fixture again for the Gunners, with their title chances hanging by a thread.
Hale End hero Myles Lewis-Skelly enjoyed a first North London Derby success on Wednesday, and will look to continue his run in the side here with Arsenal's depth in that position still looking thin. He's been a bright spark in Arsenal's team since his introduction earlier in the season, with his performances being all the more impressive given Lewis-Skelly's natural position not being left back. One trend in the youngster's run in the team has been the amount of fouls that he draws. He is averaging 2.82 fouls won per 90 this season, with him being fouled two or more times in six of his eight starts - with him being fouled three or more times in half of his eight starts. Should Unai Emery go with an unchanged lineup, this would lead to Lewis-Skelly being up against Morgan Rogers, who has committed 1.31 fouls per 90 this season, leading to the England international picking up six cards - this stretches to 18 cards when looking since the start of last season. Given the record of Rogers, I am happy to take a chance on him picking up a card at 5/1. Should Rogers lineup on the right side, he'll face Lewis-Skelly and his claims will be even further enhanced. Although, I am still happy to have a small play, regardless of whether he lines up on the right or the left of Villa's attack.
